It is important to note that dense screens can filter out up to 50% of the UVB rays. The high Vitamin D3 yield index present in the bulb ensures the photosynthesis of vitamin D3, which helps in calcium absorption and prevents metabolic diseases.
The bulb is ideal for all desert-dwelling reptiles and has a high UVB output with a very high D3 conversion. It is effective up to 50 cm (20”) and provides the necessary UVB rays for optimal calcium metabolism. It is recommended for use in terrariums with dense screen covers. To achieve optimal visual light output, the bulb can be combined with natural light. This bulb comes with a new spectrum and was formerly known as Repti Glo 10.0.
