Description

Mealworms represent the juvenile form of Tenebrio molitor, a species of darkling beetle. These diminutive "worms" have maintained their popularity as feeders for numerous decades. They can serve as a delightful addition to the diverse diets of bearded dragons, leopard geckos, skinks, frogs, tarantulas, scorpions, birds, and various other exotic pets!

To preserve mealworms at their best, store them in a wine cooler or the top shelf of a refrigerator door, maintaining a temperature range between 42 and 50 degrees Fahrenheit. Under these conditions, they will enter a dormant state and remain in excellent condition for a duration of up to 30 days.

Mealworm Arrival

I ordered 1000 mealworms to start a colony, but when they arrived many had escaped the bag they were shipped in and I had to spend a long time picking them off the rest of my purchases. Otherwise a great product.

Love them my baby gecko did not eat them but I think he’s just picky but they all came alive and healthy none are skronny and weak or dark
